Shift Manager

Job Summary
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is seeking a dependable Shift Manager to help lead restaurant operations during assigned shifts. This role supports team performance, guest service, food quality, and smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining company standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant staff during assigned shifts and keep operations running efficiently.
• Support opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and shift transitions.
• Monitor guest service, food quality, cleanliness, and overall dining-room standards.
• Assign tasks and provide direction to team members throughout the shift.
• Assist with staffing, training, coaching, and employee performance.
• Handle guest questions or concerns professionally and work toward appropriate solutions.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and company procedures.
• Help monitor supplies and communicate operational needs to management.
• Maintain a positive and organized work environment during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and team-leadership skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working with POS systems, cash handling, and basic operational procedures.
• Reliable, organized, and customer-focused.
• Available to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34.0 per week
