Shift Manager

About the role

The Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store during an assigned shift. This position ensures excellent customer service, efficient store operations, product quality, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies and standards. The Shift Manager also leads and supports employees to achieve sales and operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of store employees during the assigned shift
• Ensure smooth and efficient daily store operations
• Monitor customer service and address customer concerns professionally
• Ensure proper food handling, product quality, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
• Monitor product availability, inventory, and proper handling of store supplies
• Ensure proper cash handling, sales transactions, and shift-end reporting
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on operational needs
• Train, coach, and motivate employees to improve performance and productivity
• Assist in achieving daily sales targets and other store performance goals
• Conduct proper opening and closing procedures when assigned

About you

• Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Management, Food Technology, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in the food and beverage or food service industry
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to supervise a team and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
• Highly organized, responsible, and results-oriented
