Shift Manager

Job Summary

Produce Row Cafe is seeking a dependable and motivated Shift Manager to help oversee daily restaurant operations. The Shift Manager will support the team during service, coordinate staff activities, maintain food and service standards, and help ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts.
• Lead and support front-of-house and kitchen team members.
• Assign tasks and coordinate staff during busy service periods.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor inventory, supplies, and product availability.
• Handle guest questions and concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
• Help train and coach new team members.
• Monitor cash handling and daily shift procedures.
• Communicate operational updates to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, café, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or shift-lead experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
