Shift Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service and cleanliness. This role involves supervising team members, managing operational tasks, and ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly during each shift.

Duties

• Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service while fostering a positive work environment.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring all duties are completed efficiently.
• Supervise staff performance, providing guidance, training, and support to promote teamwork and productivity.
• Manage POS systems accurately for order processing and transactions.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth shift transitions and operational consistency.
• Ensure the restaurant maintains cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance with health regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries or concerns professionally to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Perform closing duties such as cash reconciliation, cleaning, restocking supplies, and preparing the restaurant for the next day.
• Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours or drive-thru operations.
• Support team members in day-to-day tasks and contribute actively rather than solely supervising.

Requirements

• Proven supervisory or managerial experience in a fast food or quick-service restaurant setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Experience working with POS systems for order processing and transactions.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate managerial communication and team coordination.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently while working under pressure during busy periods.
• Previous experience in drive-thru operations is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to run a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering positive guest experiences.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

This position offers an opportunity to develop leadership skills within a dynamic team environment while contributing directly to the success of our restaurant operations.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
