Responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations, including sales, customer service, and staff performance during your shift
• Lead and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation and availability
• Oversee cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and ensure accuracy in cashiering and bookkeeping tasks
• Conduct employee orientation, training, and development to enhance team skills and knowledge
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a welcoming shopping environment
• Assist with recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new staff members
• Monitor store safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in retail or a similar customer-focused environment with supervising responsibilities
• Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Experience with POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math calculations
• Demonstrated ability in employee training, team management, and leadership roles such as assistant manager or shift supervisor
• Knowledge of retail sales strategies, merchandising techniques, and pricing methods
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts
• Familiarity with payroll processing, budgeting, cash handling, and administrative duties
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
