About the Role

Reporting into the Distribution Centre leadership team, you'll be responsible for leading warehouse operations across your shift, ensuring operational targets are consistently achieved while creating a safe, engaged and high-performing team culture.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll balance people leadership with operational excellence in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, replenishment, picking, packing and dispatch
• Lead, coach and develop supervisors and warehouse teams
• Drive safety, compliance and a strong workplace culture
• Monitor and improve KPIs including productivity, accuracy, labour utilisation and on-time dispatch
• Manage workforce planning, shift communication and operational handovers
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
• Work closely with Transport, Customer Service, Inventory and Planning teams
• Resolve operational issues including inventory discrepancies, damaged stock and customer concerns

About You

You're an experienced operations leader who thrives in fast-paced warehouse or distribution environments. You know how to motivate people, solve problems and deliver operational results without compromising safety.

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or distribution operations
• Proven experience leading large teams and/or multiple supervisors
• Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations
• Experience managing KPIs, labour utilisation and workforce planning
• A track record of continuous improvement and operational problem-solving
• Strong leadership, communication and coaching skills
• The ability to remain calm, organised and adaptable under pressure
• A current Forklift Licence is advantageous
