Shift Mechanic

About the role

The Shift Mechanic is responsible for executing job orders and work orders, performing predictive and preventive maintenance, updating and submitting reports in the E-System, and ensuring equipment availability. They prepare and check materials for job orders, perform welding and fabrication, and maintain an inventory of mechanical tools.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Predictive Maintenance Checklist daily monitoring checklist
• Execute assigned work order (WO) and Job Order (JO) including update/submission to e-system applications (e.g. Preventive Maintenance System or PMS)
• Prepare and check materials for Job Order
• Create requests at Spare Parts Inventory Management System
• Diagnose problems and/or failures in all related plant equipment for identifying repairs and parts need for replacement
• Perform Job Order and other related works, such as welding and fabrication
• Ensure equipment availability
• Keep inventory of all mechanical tools and report to immediate supervisor any lacking or missing tool
• Maintain the work area and tools in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) and safety regulations
• Adhere to organization's food safety and quality policy, mission, vision and core values

About you

• Graduate of 4 years Industrial or Mechanical and any related course
• Plant Maintenance NC I
• Water Supplies Systems/Plumbing trainings or seminars
• Welding and Metal Fabrication trainings or seminars
• Hydraulic/Pneumatic Systems trainings or seminars
• Automation and Control Systems trainings or seminar
• Machine Operation/Maintenance trainings or seminars
