Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
• Operate POS systems such as Toast POS to process retail sales transactions accurately
• Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling products to enhance sales and customer satisfaction
• Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions and giving accurate change
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation activities
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS is highly advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts
• Basic math skills for cash handling, order processing, and inventory management
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards in food industry settings
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently
• Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a café or restaurant setting is a plus

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
