Shift Process Engineer

About the role

Manage production manpower to ensure smooth shift operations. Inspect and control raw material before drawing to prevent issues during the process. Control and optimize production process methods to achieve quality and productivity targets. Adjust and monitor equipment process parameters to meet standards and reduce reject rates. Maintain process stability and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. Analyze abnormal fiber optic parameters and provide improvement recommendations. Deliver training to operators according to SOP. Ensure operational activities comply with ISO 9001 and Occupational Health & Safety standards.

Key responsibilities

About you

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in process engineering or manufacturing
• Basic knowledge of fiber optic technology/manufacturing is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills with understanding of PDCA, QC tools, and Lean manufacturing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Pivot Table, formulas, and Access)
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Willing to work in rotating shifts
