Shift Production Supervisor

We are looking for Shift Production Supervisor to join our team on a permanent contract.

The key responsibilities required for this role are:

· Reporting to the Shift Manager, you'll be responsible for the production teams to achieve required productivity and Key Performance Indicators.

· Support the Shift Manager in organising the production teams and workload on the shift in order to complete the daily production plan in full and on time

· Ensure production processes are organised and run smoothly to achieve required productivity and eliminate non-production time.

· Provide clear instructions to Production Operators and production teams to perform their duties effectively.

· Support the Shift Manager in managing and ensuring smooth production flow and synchronized efficiency in all production areas. Sufficient training will be provided.

· Regularly monitor performance against plan and communicate effectively to relevant parties any deviation from the daily production plan.

· Support the Shift Manager in planning required amount of production personnel based on daily production plan to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.

· Support the Shift Manager in liaising with Temporary Labour Providers and manage temporary labour needs and performance.

· Lead, motivate and support production teams to achieve required productivity and performance.

· Promote teamwork and team oriented results.

· Identify underperformance of individuals and liaise with the Shift Manager to improve it.

· Ensure production related documents are recorded and completed accurately.

· Ensure the production shift complies with Good Manufacturing Practice, Hygiene, Health & Safety, Customer quality requirements and Company policies.

· Ensure safe and efficient work practices are always maintained.

This position has weekly rotation shifts of 6:30 am-3pm & 2:30 pm-11pm

40 working hours per week

Monday to Friday.

From time to time weekend work may be required which is paid at overtime rate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £34,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
