Responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations, including sales, merchandising, and customer interactions to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Lead and motivate team members by providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance their performance
• Manage cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and payroll processing accurately and efficiently
• Oversee inventory management tasks such as purchasing, pricing adjustments, stock replenishment, and merchandising displays
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
• Monitor store compliance with safety policies, cash handling protocols, and operational procedures
• Conduct interviews for potential new hires, participate in recruiting efforts, and assist with onboarding processes

Experience

• Proven supervising or team management experience in a retail or customer service setting
• Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques, merchandising strategies, and POS systems
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution
• Experience with payroll administration, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customer bases
• Familiarity with marketing initiatives and sales management practices
• Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking in a fast-paced environment
