Shift Supervisor

Job Summary

Supervise and coordinate production activities during the assigned shift to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved. Monitor production processes and workforce performance to ensure efficient operation and optimal resource utilization.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production activities during the assigned shift to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Lead, coach, and develop production operators to improve skills, productivity, and work performance

• Investigate and resolve production issues, equipment problems, and process deviations in a timely manner

• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, and other related departments to support smooth production operations

• Monitor product quality and ensure corrective actions are implemented when quality issues are identified

• Prepare and maintain shift reports, production records, and other required documentation accurately and on time

• Conduct shift handovers and communicate important operational information to the next shift supervisor

• Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency

Job Duty

• Ensure proper manpower allocation and attendance management within the assigned shift
• Perform production with safety and environmental awareness
• Guide and coach Line leader, Senior Operator, and field operators to increase their working skill
• Follow up company objectives and clarify them with all operation staff for achievement
• Control production lines to achieve both quantitative and qualitative product with minimized production down time, rework and un-salable product quantity
• Handle interrupting works such as re-packing, re-labeling and blending
• Optimize process condition to achieve high product quality
• Involve in process trouble solving with high responsibility and right decision
• Ensure accuracy in raw material consumption, finished-goods quantity, packaging, and label type
• Ensure right information shown in production documents including Production Report, Emergency Shutdown Report and Trial Run Product Request
