Shift Supervisor

About the role

Shift Supervisor for the WGB and Dryer areas in the Production – Dry Process department. The role involves supervising and monitoring daily operations, ensuring production targets are achieved, and maintaining compliance with operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the daily operations of the WGB and Dryer areas. Ensure production targets are achieved according to the approved production plan.
• Monitor manpower allocation, attendance, and work performance within the assigned areas.
• Ensure proper operation and monitoring of processing equipment and report any abnormalities or breakdowns.
• Coordinate with Maintenance regarding equipment issues and required corrective actions.
• Monitor product quality, process parameters, and production losses to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Ensure proper implementation of GMP, food safety, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Conduct shift briefings/toolbox meetings and communicate production priorities and concerns to operators and personnel.
• Ensure proper recording and reporting of production data, downtime, yield, and other required shift information.
• Escalate major production, quality, safety, and equipment issues to the Production Manager.
• Implement corrective actions and follow up on issues identified during the shift.

About you

• At least 1 to 2 years' supervisory experience in a related field
• Preferrable Engineering Courses (Mechanical & Electrical)
• With license is an advantage
• Exhibits good collaborative and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrates good written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in computer skills and knowledgeable in MS Office applications.
• Physically fit and willing to work rotating shifts.
