Job Summary

Cappadocia Restaurant Bristol is looking for a confident and reliable Shift Supervisor to support the management team with daily restaurant operations. The successful candidate will supervise staff, maintain high customer service standards, coordinate smooth service, and help ensure the restaurant operates efficiently throughout each shift.

Job Description

• Supervise front-of-house staff during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate daily restaurant service and allocate team duties.
• Support staff throughout busy service periods and ensure smooth workflow.
• Welcome customers and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Respond professionally to customer questions, requests, and concerns.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams.
• Support opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with cash handling and end-of-shift duties when required.
• Monitor stock levels and help maintain organised service areas.
• Ensure food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness standards are followed.
• Support the training and development of new team members.
• Help resolve operational issues during service.
• Step in for management when required.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Excellent customer-service approach.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a busy environment.
• Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Flexible approach to shifts and willingness to support the wider restaurant team.

Pay: £11.00-£29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39.0 per week
