Shift Supervisor

Fork & Salad is here on the WestSide! Fork & Salad was established in 2016 by the same owners and chefs of Threes Bar & Grill in Kihei. They were looking to provide delicious healthy food with fresh local ingredients, on the go and for a reasonable price.

Shift Supervisors shifts are 3pm - 10pm or 9am - 3p, must be flexible.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage food preparation and kitchen processes to maintain quality and consistency.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for efficient order processing and payment handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.

Skills

• Proven experience in restaurant management or shift management within the food industry.
• Familiarity with quick service fast food restaurants or casual dining settings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Cash handling skills
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Proficient in using Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff and customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour
