As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing staff, coordinating food production, and enhancing the overall dining experience.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service.
• Lead, train, and mentor staff members, fostering a positive team environment.
• Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.
• Oversee food production processes to maintain quality standards and compliance with health regulations.
• Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies for improving service efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to promote professional growth.

Experience

• Previous experience in restaurant management or food service management is preferred.
• Familiarity with casual dining environments and kitchen management practices is advantageous.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Experience in food production processes, including cooking and preparation techniques.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation is a plus, enhancing our beverage offerings.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and staff alike.
