Shift Supervisor

Duties

• Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales goals, deliver superior customer service, and uphold company standards.
• Oversee daily store operations including merchandising, inventory management, and store cleanliness to ensure an inviting shopping environment.
• Manage cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, and reconcile cash registers at shift end with accuracy.
• Lead recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new staff members to build a strong, capable team.
• Coordinate scheduling, assign tasks, and monitor employee performance to optimize productivity and teamwork.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all guests.
• Assist with purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and promotional activities aligned with marketing plans.
• Maintain organizational records such as payroll documentation, sales reports, and inventory logs with precision.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations at all times.

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in retail or customer service environments with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases.
• Familiarity with retail sales systems including POS technology and merchandising tools.
• Experience in recruiting, training & development of staff, and managing team performance.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures, bookkeeping basics, budgeting, and sales management principles.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Organizational skills complemented by administrative experience such as payroll processing or record keeping.
• Competence in negotiation, marketing strategies, pricing adjustments, and promotional planning is advantageous.
• Multilingual skills enhance communication with diverse customers and team members alike.

Pay: $17.60-$30.90 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
