Shift Supervisor - Restaurant

We will provide the training you need to feel confident working at any station – grill, cashier, prep, fry, or expo.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and supervise the staff.
• Close the drawer, count the cash and make the deposit.
• Handle refunds or customer complaints on shift.
• Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety standards.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions accurately.
• Handle cash and credit transactions while maintaining accuracy in cash handling.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and dining areas.
• Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels.
• Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs and enhance their experience.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items to provide recommendations and answer customer inquiries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or a quick service fast food restaurant is required.
• Familiarity with food safety practices is required.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to café operations.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with food preparation and service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $14.50 per hour
