SHIFTING ENGINEER

About the Role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Shifting Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our mechanical systems and equipment. As a Shifting Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing operations across different shifts, ensuring that all mechanical systems function optimally and safely. This role is integral to maintaining our operational excellence and supporting the company's commitment to delivering reliable services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee the operation of mechanical systems and equipment during assigned shifts
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues or areas requiring maintenance
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems in accordance with established protocols
• Troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions and implement solutions to minimise downtime
• Maintain detailed logs and records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and any incidents that occur during shifts
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless operations across all shifts
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies
• Respond promptly to mechanical emergencies and undertake emergency repairs as needed
• Train and support junior engineering staff on mechanical systems and operational procedures
• Prepare reports on equipment status, maintenance schedules, and recommendations for system improvements

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Shifting Engineer or in a similar mechanical engineering role
• Fresh Graduate or with Experience.
