Responsibilities

• Install new shingle roofing systems according to construction plans and technical drawings, ensuring precise alignment and secure fastening
• Repair and replace damaged shingles, addressing leaks and structural issues promptly to maintain roof integrity
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and safety harnesses effectively while adhering to all construction safety regulations
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute roofing projects
• Perform metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, siding installation, and tile laying as needed for various projects
• Follow strict safety protocols during all phases of work, including heavy lifting and working at heights with proper safety harnesses
• Conduct outdoor work in diverse weather conditions while maintaining high standards of quality and safety compliance

Skills

• Construction estimating skills to assess project scope and material needs accurately
• Extensive experience with roofing repair, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and tile laying techniques
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans for precise execution
• Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations including ladder use, safety harnesses, and general site safety practices
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, trim carpentry, stucco application, metal stud framing, remodeling, siding installation, and handyman tasks
• Strong outdoor work experience with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely over long periods
• Familiarity with construction site experience including blueprint reading and interpreting technical specifications
