ASCENSION ROOFING LTD. is hiring! We are looking for permanent, full-time, experienced Shingler Roofers to join our growing team. Our head office is located in Langford**,** B.C., with job sites located across the Greater Victoria area and the Gulf Islands.

Primary duties:

• Install, repair, and replace fiberglass laminated shingles, asphalt shingles, wood shingles, cedar among others on residential and commercial sloped roofs.
• Perform repair/installation required on sloped roof surfaces using hand/power tools.
• Set up scaffolding, ladders, staging, and fall-protection equipment in strict accordance with WorkSafeBC regulations.
• Measure roof areas accurately to create precise material and cutting lists.
• Use a variety of specialized hand and power tools to ensure all work meets BC Building Code and RCABC standards.
• Delegate or assist with tear-off, site clean-up, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in shingle installation (Roofing Apprentice certificate is also highly valued).
• Strong work ethic, comfortable working at heights, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Trade certification (Journeyperson) is considered a major asset.
• Must have reliable means to transport yourself to various job sites. A valid driver’s license is a strong asset.

What We Offer

• Wage: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, highly competitive and negotiable based on your experience.
