Shipper

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and distribution of materials within the facility. The Shipper plays a vital role in ensuring smooth shipping, receiving, and inventory processes to support overall operational success.

Duties

• Load and unload materials using forklifts, crane, or other heavy equipment
• Pick and pack orders accurately utilizing order picker and warehouse management system
• Operate heavy equipment safely for material handling and transportation within the warehouse
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
• Perform routine inspections of equipment such as forklifts and cranes to ensure proper functioning
• Support construction or maintenance projects as needed involving heavy lifting or load & unload activities
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines

Experience

• Prior experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse management system operation preferred
• Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, cranes, and order pickers
• Proven experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, load & unload procedures, and heavy lifting techniques
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and best practices for heavy equipment operation
