Shipping & E-Commerce Associate

Job Summary
Postal Plus is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented team member to assist with daily store operations and online sales. This role is a mix of front counter customer service, shipping and packaging, and online item listing for platforms such as eBay.

Responsibilities include assisting customers at the counter, operating the computer and shipping systems, packing and lifting packages, and learning overall store procedures. This position will also support our online sales by researching items, taking photos, creating listings, and posting products to our eBay accounts.

The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable using a computer, able to multitask, and willing to learn in a small business environment.Please note: there are two friendly dogs on site during work hours, so applicants should be comfortable working around dogs.

Duties & Responsibilities.

• Greet and assist customers at the front counter in a friendly, professional manner
• Operate the computer and point-of-sale/shipping systems
• Process shipments, including packaging, labeling, and preparing items for delivery
• Lift, move, and organize packages as needed
• Learn and follow daily store operations and procedures
• Assist with online sales, including researching items and pricing
• Take photos of products for online listings
• Create and post listings to eBay and other online platforms
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Work comfortably in a small-business environment with two friendly dogs on site

Requirements / Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers
• Must be social and able to communicate clearly with customers and team members
• Customer service experience preferred but not required
• Comfortable using a computer and learning new systems
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and move packages (up to ___ lbs; adjust as needed)
• Attention to detail for packaging and online listings
• Willingness to learn daily store operations and procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Comfortable working in a small, family-owned business environment
• Comfortable working around two friendly dogs on site

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
