Shipping and Packaging Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Packaging Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customers in our Retail Shop, finding the correct shipping solution for both UK & International Shipping. Additionally, you will be supporting the professional packaging of fine art and antiques.

Duties:

• Greeting customers, establishing their needs and offering the best shipping / postal solutions using the range of UK and International Carrier services available.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Assist in resolving any shipping discrepancies, liasing direct with both the customer and carriers.
• Support professionally packaging Art & Antiques, keeping own work area clean and organised

Skills:

• Ability to analyse shipment information for accuracy.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Proficiency in data entry to maintain accurate customer & customs records.
• Knowledge of phone etiquette when communicating with external parties.
• Upselling skills to promote additional products or services.

Pay: £12.71-£16.50 per hour
