Job Summary

The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator plays a crucial role in the logistics and operations of our organization. This position is responsible for managing the flow of goods into and out of the warehouse, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining inventory integrity. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing setting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in both an office setting and a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming shipments by verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring that all items are correctly packaged and labeled for delivery.
• Must be able to work in an office setting as well as a steel manufacturing facility.
• Perform regular inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience in shipping and receiving processes would be ideal but will train qualified candidates.

Skills

• Ability to lift and move materials while processing.

Pre-employment drug screening is required.
