Shipping Clerk

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Shipping Clerk to support our daily shipping and logistics operations. You will be responsible for preparing shipping documents, checking outgoing goods, updating system records and coordinating with internal teams to ensure shipments are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify packing lists, shipping documents and shipping labels.
• Check outgoing goods against relevant documents before shipment.
• Ensure quantities, item details and shipping information are accurate.
• Update ERP system with shipping and inventory information.
• Coordinate with warehouse and internal departments on shipment arrangements.
• Follow up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods or other delivery issues.
• Maintain proper filing of shipping and logistics documents.
• Assist with daily inventory and shipping records.
• Ensure work is carried out according to company procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping, logistics or warehouse administration is preferred.
• Fresh candidates with relevant qualifications may also be considered.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Good organisational and documentation skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Responsible, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends when required.
• Willing to work in Muar, Johor.
