Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate processing of outgoing shipments, coordinate with warehouse operations, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Duties

• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork for international trade compliance
• Operate warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory management software to track shipments and update records accurately
• Pick, pack, and label products using RF scanners, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries while ensuring adherence to shipping & receiving protocols
• Maintain inventory accuracy through data entry and stock management within warehouse distribution systems
• Ensure packaging meets safety standards and protects products during transit while adhering to trade regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or logistics roles with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems like AS400 or MRPs
• Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, international trade regulations, and trade compliance standards
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order quantities and measurements
• Skilled in using RF scanners, barcode systems, pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and order pickers
• Excellent data entry skills combined with customer service orientation for effective communication with internal teams and carriers
• Familiarity with packaging standards, order fulfillment procedures, and load & unload operations
