Responsibilities

• Prepare and process outbound shipments using warehouse management systems and inventory management software, ensuring accuracy in order picking, packing, and labeling.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently with equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, adhering to safety protocols.
• Manage shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, tracking shipments, and resolving any delivery issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of all shipping and receiving transactions through data entry in ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms.
• Assist with inventory management tasks including stocking, cycle counts, and stock replenishment to support seamless warehouse distribution.
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations and international trade laws during order processing and shipment documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to order status, shipment tracking, and delivery schedules.

Skills

• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (such as AS400), and inventory management software.
• Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment processes, and warehouse operations.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is a plus.
• Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities accurately.
• Experience with data entry tasks using Microsoft Office tools like Excel for reporting purposes.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide superior customer service.
