Shipping Coordinator (2nd and 3rd shift)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the entire shipping and receiving process, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels, process shipments, and update records efficiently.
• Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and packaging materials adhering to trade compliance and international trade regulations when applicable.
• Operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, pick, pack, and organize inventory.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize order picking & packing procedures using ERP systems software for accurate stock management.
• Maintain detailed data entry logs for shipments, inventory movements, and order statuses while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with carriers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues related to shipping logistics or delivery schedules.

Experience

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics roles with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP platforms such as SAP or similar systems.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and customs documentation requirements.
• Skilled in using basic math for measurements, calculations related to weight/volume/quantities, and order accuracy verification.
• Demonstrated ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers safely.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and inventory control tasks.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly across teams and external partners.
