Shipping Coordinator

About the role

Join Yeong Soon Cheong (Pte) Ltd as a Shipping Coordinator in our Sungei Kadut North Region office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for coordinating the efficient and timely shipping of goods, ensuring our import/export and customs operations run smoothly.

What you'll be doing

• Liaise with customers, logistics providers and internal teams to plan and execute shipping schedules
• Experience with direct bookings with shipping lines is preferred
• Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively communicate with stakeholders to resolve any issues
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipping activities
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement processes to enhance shipping operations
• Collaborate with the wider logistics team to drive operational efficiency

What we're looking for

• 1-3 years of experience in a shipping/logistics coordination role, preferably within the manufacturing or import/export industry
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with customers and colleagues
• Proficient in using shipping/logistics software and Microsoft Office suite
• Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures is highly desirable
• A team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude
