(Shipping) Coordinator IT

Main Objective:

• Takes responsibility for day-to-day troubleshooting and support for laptops, printers, LAN/WAN connectivity, and telephone-related issues.

Function and duties:

• Provides first level help desk support and works closely with the Information Technology Service Desk (ITSD).
• Installs and configures laptops and installs software.
• Handles IT assets inventory control.
• Provides training on hardware and software as needed.
• Supports user authorization, access request and user identity.
• Supports end users with issues and inquiries.
• Support facility management by overseeing control activities, including coordinating all installations (telecommunications, technicians, groundskeepers, and external contractors).

Job Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and end-user support, preferably within a multinational company.
• Good knowledge of LAN and WAN networks, hardware and software, servers, and Windows operating systems.
• Experience in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT hardware, including printers, mobile phones and other peripheral devices.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Good communication skills
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• Able to work under pressure
• Willing and able to work on shift schedules
• Good command of spoken and written English
