Shipping Executive

Job Responsibilities

·         Coordinate container bookings, loading schedules, trucking arrangements, and port documentation to ensure timely shipment movement.

·         Prepare, review, and verify shipping and trade documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading and other import/export documentation.

·         Liaise with customs authorities, port authorities, shipping agents, freight forwarders, and relevant government agencies to facilitate smooth import and export clearance.

·         Ensure all shipping and customs documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted within the required timelines.

·         Plan and coordinate with freight forwarders, logistics service providers, and customs clearance agents to ensure efficient handling of import and export shipments.

·         Monitor shipment status and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure timely delivery.

·         Identify and resolve shipment, customs, transportation, and logistics issues promptly.

·         Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders throughout the shipment process.

·         Ensure import and export activities comply with company procedures and applicable customs and trade regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree holder. Fresh graduate is encouraged.
• Knowledge in Standards and Regulatory requirements will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Customer oriented with good communication skills.
• Reports preparation and transaction updates.
• Self-starter and ability to work on own initiative and in team.
