Shipping Executive

• Monday - Friday (9.00am - 6.00pm)
• Basic salary up $3700 + VB

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle customer bookings, enquiries and shipment-related requests
• Coordinate with customers, carriers, overseas agents, vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution
• Manage daily ocean import operations including shipment documentation, permit declarations and delivery arrangements
• Prepare and process shipping documents, pre-alerts, invoices and related paperwork
• Update shipment details, freight costs and operational information in Cargowise or related systems
• Monitor shipment status and ensure timely completion of operational activities
• Support customer service matters and resolve shipment-related issues
• Assist in preparing operational reports and process improvement initiatives
• Provide support and guidance to new team members when required

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics or ocean import operations
• Good knowledge of shipping documentation, customs permits and import processes
• Experience with Cargowise or freight management systems is an advantage
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
