Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shipping Lead Packer to oversee and coordinate all packing and shipping operations within our warehouse. This role involves managing order fulfillment processes, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring that all shipments meet quality standards and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of leading a team to maintain efficient warehouse distribution and logistics workflows.

Duties

• Supervise packing activities, ensuring accurate and efficient order picking, packing, and labeling using barcode scanning for logistics.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools to load, unload, and move materials safely.
• Oversee shipping and receiving processes, including inventory management systems (IMS) and RF scanners to track stock movements precisely.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with warehouse management systems to monitor inventory levels, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment accuracy.
• Lead quality control checks on packed items to prevent damages or errors before dispatch.
• Maintain detailed records of shipments, inventory adjustments, and equipment maintenance for audit purposes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations with a focus on shipping, packing, or distribution roles.
• Warehouse supervisor experience is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements.
• Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling practices.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to lead a team effectively under pressure.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
