Shipping Material Handler

2nd Shift (3pm-11pm Monday-Friday). Opportunities for overtime.

We are currently seeking a Shipping Material Handler to support our warehouse and logistics operations. This role is ideal for a safety-focused, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork. Shipping Material Handlers play a critical role in ensuring materials and finished goods move safely, correctly, and on time — directly supporting our customers and production teams.

What You’ll Do

• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments safely and accurately, ensuring proper documentation and barcode scanning.
• Pick, pull, stage, and store materials and finished goods to support production and customer delivery requirements.
• Operate powered industrial equipment including sit-down and stand-up forklifts, clamp trucks, and reach trucks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners and warehouse systems to track movement and location of materials.
• Support inventory control efforts including cycle counts and monitoring pallet usage to minimize shrinkage.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventive maintenance on fork trucks to ensure safe operation.
• Promote a safe and compliant work environment by following all safety, food safety, OSHA, and environmental procedures, including proper hazardous material handling.

What Sets You Apart

• Prior experience in manufacturing, shipping, or warehouse operations.
• Profiency in operating sit down and stand-up forklifts required, clamp truck experience preferred
• Comfortable using RF scanners and basic computer systems to track inventory.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication abilities.
• Knowledge of basic inventory, material handling, and safety procedures.

Experience and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of experience in manufacturing, shipping, or warehouse operations
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment required

Compensation

$20+/hour. Pay listed represents an estimated starting amount. Actual offered pay rate will be based on relevant skills and experience.
