Shipping Supervisor

About us

Jordache International (HK) Ltd is a well-established US-based garment company. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shipping Supervisor to join our team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor day-to-day operation of the designated team to ensure a smooth operational process, timely delivery of shipments
• Engage with forwarders and transportation providers to improve services and secure competitive costs
• Proactively and timely communication with internal teams on orders, inspection, shipment update and any potential issues
• Coordinate with forwarders and other relevant parties to resolve shipment related issues (e.g., discrepancies, damaged goods, delays, etc.)
• Maintain an updated system; ensure accurate and up-to-date shipment records
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation Management

• Minimum 5 years of relevant shipping experience at supervisory level; Prior work experience in garment trading is preferred

• Proficient in MS Office including MS Word and Excel

• Self-motivated, well organized, and able to work independently

• Positive working attitude and a team player

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
