Shipping Technician

Job Summary:

Makuta is a precision injection molding company specializing in micro and precision molded components for the medical, pharmaceutical, electronics, and other high-performance industries.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Technician to join our dynamic logistics team. The Shipping Technician is responsible for preparing customer shipments, receiving incoming materials and supplies, fill out accurate documentations, and supporting other tasks assigned to you.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and package finished products for shipment according to customer requirements.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, labels, and shipping documentation before shipments leave the facility.
• Receive incoming materials, components, tooling, and supplies.
• Inspect incoming shipments for quantity and obvious damage and report discrepancies.
• Create shipping labels, packing lists, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate shipments with UPS, FedEx, freight carriers, and other transportation providers.
• Maintain organized shipping, receiving, and inventory areas.
• Move materials and finished goods safely throughout the facility.
• Work on secondary process on parts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience preparing domestic shipments and commercial documentation.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
