Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Shoot Coordinator to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of creative shoots and production projects.

The Shoot Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that every production is properly planned, all required resources and personnel are coordinated, and projects are executed smoothly, on schedule, and according to the approved creative brief.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment, managing multiple moving parts, communicating effectively with different teams, and taking full ownership of assigned projects with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate must be based in Lekki, Lagos, and must be available to work in a hybrid capacity, including attending shoots and production activities as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end planning and execution of creative projects, shoots, and productions.

• Manage project timelines, shot lists, schedules, production plans, and deliverables.

• Coordinate photographers, videographers, models, makeup artists, stylists, vendors, and other production personnel.

• Manage shoot logistics including locations, equipment, props, wardrobe, products, transportation, and other production requirements.

• Prepare call sheets, production checklists, schedules, and other necessary documentation.

• Confirm that all personnel, equipment, locations, products, and other requirements are ready before each shoot.

• Coordinate activities on set and ensure the production follows the approved schedule and shot list.

• Monitor shoot progress and promptly identify and resolve issues, delays, or unexpected challenges.

• Track project deadlines, revisions, approvals, and post-production requirements.

• Coordinate the handover of shoot assets to photographers, videographers, editors, retouchers, and other relevant teams.

• Follow up on editing, retouching, colour grading, and other post-production deliverables to ensure timely completion.

• Communicate with clients, internal teams, production personnel, and vendors and provide regular project updates.

• Identify potential risks, gaps, or delays early and take proactive steps to resolve them.

• Maintain organized project folders, production documents, shot lists, call sheets, assets, and other project records.

• Ensure proper project close-out, including confirmation that all agreed deliverables have been received and completed.

• Take full ownership of assigned projects and consistently follow up on tasks without requiring constant supervision.

• Ensure that all production activities are carried out according to Ratedby10's standards, timelines, and approved creative direction.

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities that may be assigned based on project or production needs. Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in shoot coordination, production coordination, project coordination, content production, or a related creative role.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to coordinate multiple people, vendors, and tasks simultaneously.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate production needs.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage last-minute changes.

• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Strong follow-up skills and ability to work independently.

• Familiarity with creative production processes, including photography, videography, styling, makeup, editing, and post-production workflows.

• Proficiency with project management and communication tools is an advantage.

• Must be resident in Lekki, Lagos or its environs

• Must be comfortable with a hybrid work arrangement and able to attend shoots, meetings, and other production activities when required.

All tasks and responsibilities shall be carried out under the direction and supervision of Ratedby10.

The Shoot Coordinator shall provide regular updates on assigned projects and promptly communicate any issues, delays, changes, or risks that may affect project timelines or deliverables.

The Shoot Coordinator shall be expected to take full ownership of assigned projects while remaining aligned with Ratedby10's instructions, creative direction, production standards, and operational requirements.
