Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or answering inquiries with enthusiasm.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop floor, including tidying shelves and ensuring displays are appealing.
• Support stock management by receiving deliveries, restocking shelves, and organizing inventory efficiently.
• Operate driving equipment such as carts or small vehicles to transport goods within the store or to delivery points.
• Perform janitorial tasks like sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold a hygienic shopping environment.
• Assist with basic store maintenance and safety checks to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions promptly and guiding shoppers through their purchase journey.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to operate driving equipment safely and efficiently.
• Previous janitorial experience is preferred to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Organized with attention to detail for stock management and store presentation.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to handle various tasks including cleaning, stocking, and assisting customers as needed.
