Shop Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and proactive Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist with daily shop operations, and ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their enquiries in a professional manner
• Provide information about products and services offered in the shop
• Maintain the organisation and cleanliness of the shop floor and display areas
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
• Restock shelves and ensure products are correctly labelled and displayed
• Assist in managing stock levels and report any shortages or discrepancies
• Support with opening and closing procedures as required
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Handle customer feedback or complaints with patience and professionalism

Skills

• Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when needed
• Friendly, approachable demeanour with a positive attitude
• Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
