Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service by understanding their needs and offering tailored product recommendations
• Maintain organized merchandise displays, ensuring products are well-stocked, correctly priced, and visually appealing through effective merchandising strategies.
• Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems, handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with professionalism.
• Manage time efficiently by prioritizing tasks such as restocking shelves, cleaning work areas, and assisting in inventory counts
• Use phone etiquette to answer customer questions promptly and professionally, whether in person or over the phone

Requirements

• Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management
• Excellent organizational skills to keep the store tidy and merchandise well-presented
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential

Pay: £12.71 per hour
