Shop Assistant

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to support our daily shop and warehouse operations. This position involves a variety of hands-on tasks, including organizing, cleaning, preparing tools and materials, sorting parts, and assembling kits.

The ideal candidate is a team player who takes pride in keeping the workspace clean and organized, follows instructions, and is willing to assist with different tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and warehouse environment.
• Organize tools, equipment, materials, and inventory.
• Clean, sort, and prepare parts and materials for upcoming jobs.
• Assist with tool preparation and general shop maintenance.
• Build, assemble, and package kits according to instructions.
• Assist with warehouse organization, stocking, and material handling.
• Help with assembling and preparing equipment and components.
• Support shop personnel with daily projects and general labor tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned to keep shop operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, and motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and take direction.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving materials.
• Previous warehouse, shop, assembly, or general labor experience is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
