We’re looking for friendly, reliable people to join our family-run farm shop. You’ll get to know our regular customers, work with home-grown produce and food from local makers, and help keep the shop welcoming and well stocked.

The role

From helping someone choose something for supper to putting out freshly picked vegetables, there’s always something to get involved in. Your day will include:

• Helping customers and serving on the till
• Stocking shelves and displaying produce
• Helping with deliveries and moving stock
• Keeping the shop clean, tidy and looking its best

This is an active, physical job, with plenty of walking, lifting and carrying. You’ll spend much of the day on your feet, and some deliveries involve heavy items.

Experience is welcome, but a friendly manner, a willingness to learn and being someone the team can count on matter much more to us.

Guaranteed days, with flexibility across the week

We’re looking for people to work two or three days a week. When you accept the job, we’ll agree how many days you’ll work, and we guarantee that number each week.

The days themselves will vary according to the rota, across Monday to Sunday. You’ll therefore need flexibility about which days you work, including weekends.

This could suit someone looking for regular part-time work who can fit changing working days around their other commitments.

Shift times

Monday–Wednesday and Friday–Sunday: 8am–5.30pm

Thursday: 8am–2pm, 8am–5.30pm, 10.30am–8pm or 2pm–8pm

You’ll need to be available to work the full shift you’re allocated.
