Shop Assistant (Part-time)

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and offer assistance with their shopping needs in a friendly, professional manner
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including merchandising displays to attract customer interest
• Provide product information and upsell items to maximize sales opportunities
• Operate the cash register accurately, handle transactions efficiently,
• Manage stock levels by restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and conducting inventory checks
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer service

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills in English;
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory counts
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting merchandise
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize duties effectively during busy hours
• Knowledge of phone etiquette for professional customer interactions over the phone or in person
• Previous retail or merchandising experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
