Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, providing product information and recommendations.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for cash, credit, and digital payments, ensuring smooth checkout experiences.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end.
• Conduct product demos when applicable, highlighting features and benefits to encourage sales and upselling opportunities.
• Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract customers and promote featured products effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Support inventory management through stock replenishment, product organization, and assisting with stock counts as needed.

Skills

• Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
• Previous experience in retail sales or technical sales enhances your ability to connect with customers and promote products confidently.
• Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—are essential for engaging with customers and team members professionally.
• Basic math skills are necessary for cash handling, transaction processing, and inventory counting.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and merchandising techniques is preferred.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills help ensure efficient store operations during busy periods.
• Demonstrated phone etiquette and customer service skills contribute to building lasting customer relationships.
• Ability to upsell products by understanding customer needs and presenting relevant options confidently.
