Shop Assistant – Green Appliance Solutions, Goole

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and confident Shop Assistant to join our team at Green Appliance Solutions in Goole.

Working hours:

• Wednesday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
• Thursday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
• Saturday: 10:00am – 2:00pm

25 hours per week

Main duties include:

• Helping and advising customers in the shop
• Answering phone calls and customer enquiries
• Arranging and managing appliance repair bookings
• Taking payments and processing sales
• Advertising and listing products online
• Updating online product adverts when required
• Using Microsoft Office for general day-to-day tasks
• Keeping the shop clean, tidy and organised
• Helping to move and reposition appliances around the shop when required
• General day-to-day shop duties

We are looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, organised and confident dealing with customers, and who is comfortable working independently when required.

Good computer skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office, are essential. Retail, customer service or online selling experience would be an advantage, but training can be provided.

Please note: This is an active shop role and involves helping to move and reposition appliances such as washing machines, cookers and fridge freezers. Applicants must be physically able to safely assist with moving appliances when required.
