Shop Associate

Job Summary

Wildflyer Coffee is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Coffee Shop Associate to support daily café operations and provide an excellent experience for guests. This role involves assisting customers, preparing and serving beverages and food items, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and working collaboratively with the café team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and other café menu items according to established procedures.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process payments accurately.
• Assist with preparing ingredients, supplies, and service stations.
• Deliver completed orders to customers promptly and courteously.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked counters, tables, and service areas.
• Restock coffee, cups, lids, napkins, utensils, and other café supplies.
• Answer customer questions and assist with menu selections when needed.
• Communicate special orders, customer preferences, and service concerns to team members.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
• Help maintain consistent beverage quality and attractive product presentation.
• Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general café duties.
• Follow company policies and established customer service standards.
• Perform other coffee shop duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous coffee shop, café, restaurant, food service, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist coworkers.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout a shift.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
