Job Summary

Lottie’s Cafe is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Coffee Shop Associate to support daily café operations. This role involves serving customers, preparing beverages and food items, processing orders, maintaining cleanliness, and helping create a welcoming café environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments through the point-of-sale system.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, specialty beverages, and café menu items.
• Assist customers with menu questions and product selections.
• Maintain clean and organized counters, tables, service areas, and workstations.
• Restock beverages, food items, cups, utensils, and other supplies as needed.
• Prepare ingredients and supplies for daily café operations.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Ensure customer orders are accurate and served promptly.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Monitor supplies and communicate inventory needs to supervisors.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain smooth café operations.
• Respond to customer concerns politely and professionally.
• Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and comfortable environment.
• Perform other café and customer service duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous coffee shop, café, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.0 per week
