Shop Associate

Pay: $16.90 - $18.00 per hour

Job description:

Reporting directly to the shop manager, the shop associate plays a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children and their grown ups. You will check in guests, and maintain the play space. Enrichment leaders will lead daily workshop activities designed to promote learning through play and ensure that each child’s experience at BusyKids is full of whimsy and magic.

Position: Shop Associate, opener

Hours: 10-30 hours per week. Must be available during the day

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a peaceful and supportive environment for all children and their grown ups.
• Assist with general organizational tasks.
• Potential cross-training in our associate positions: Shop Associate duties include greeting guests, operating the cash register, facilitating events, barista, and keeping the play space clean and organized.
• Weekend duties include hosting parties and thoroughly cleaning the play space.

Qualifications:

• College degree preferred.
• Own transportation is required.
• Efficient work habits and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Soft, kind, and patient approach when interacting with children.
