Shop Hand

OHM Timberframes is looking for a reliable, hardworking Shop Hand to join our team. This is an entry-level position, and no prior experience is required. We are willing to train the right person.

The position involves general shop work, cleaning, organizing materials, assisting with daily tasks, and helping keep our timber frame fabrication shop running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to learn new skills in a woodworking and manufacturing environment.

Duties

• Clean and maintain shop floors, work areas, and equipment.
• Keep tools, materials, and supplies organized.
• Assist with moving, stacking, and organizing lumber and other materials.
• Help keep the shop clean, orderly, and safe.
• Assist team members with general shop tasks and projects.
• Help prepare materials and work areas as needed.
• Follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
• Follow company safety procedures.
• Learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as experience grows.

Requirements

• No prior experience necessary; entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to work.
• Willingness to learn and help wherever needed.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.
• Positive attitude and attention to detail.
• Comfortable performing hands-on, physical work.
• Previous experience with tools, woodworking, construction, or general labor is a plus, but not required.
